I was surprised by how well this app renders the fun of playing guitar. While I’m sure it is useful for beginners who wish to learn to play, it certainly doesn’t lack anything to give pros a good time. I’ve played guitar for some years and I think this is probably as close as it can get on an iPad. It is intuitive and easy to use, and it does sound very good. I also loved the choice of 3 guitars, all 3 sounding realistic. Very good job there!

Absolutely the best guitar app in the store. It’s a great way to learn and combine with a real guitar, or just by itself. I also really love the songs. It’s a great collection for a beginner. A must own for every musician!

Jemand, der Gitarre spielen kann und eine Gitarre zur Hand hat, wird sicher lieber mit dem Original spielen. Aber für alle anderen ist diese App ein Vergnügen. Die 3 Gitarren- Klänge (Konzert, Western, E- Gitarre) sind offensichtlich mit viel Know How und Liebe zum Detail erstellt worden und klingen sehr natürlich. Ich habe mehrere Gitarren- Apps probiert: das sind mit Abstand die besten! Mit Hilfe der Akkord- Funktionen kann man sehr einfach und doch lebendig eigene Songs spielen. Und auch die Funktion, mit der man ziemlich easy Klassiker der Lagerfeuer- Hits begleiten kann und gleichzeitig den Text dazu sieht, gefällt mir sehr gut! Man muß nur schnell genug den Akkord drücken, damit man den Text auch lesen kann
Für eine Version 2 würde ich mir ein Schlagzeug wünschen. Und vielleicht könnten die Akkorde etwas schneller erklingen. Da das aber bei anderen Gitarren- Apps auch so ähnlich ist, vermute ich, daß es eine Limitation des iPAD ist. Bin gespannt…

Die App. Hat wirklich gute Ansätze, aber was mich wirklich stört ist, dass ein lag beim strummen besteht und somit das saitenansprechen einfach nicht realistisch ist. Zweiter Kritikpunkt sind knackgeraeusche beim anspielen mehrerer Saiten gleichzeitig. Wenn die probe gelöst sind gibt’s 5 Sterne.

左手で弦をおさえる方の反応が悪い気がします。逆に弦をはじく方は隣の弦をいっしょにはじいてしまいがちで、ちょっとストレスたまりました。フレットの幅と弦の間隔が連動して変わってしまうので、弦の間隔はそのままで、フレットの間隔だけ狭くしたりできるようにしてください。

音の出し方がわかりません。
Guys. There is a problem with notes being left over when you change chords. It would be great if when selecting a new chord one should be sure just to get those notes that re part of that particular chord!

thanks for helping to improve iGtar.
We checked the left over note problem on a couple of iPads. It didn’t happen. I understand that on your iPad it occurs in play mode using the buttons ñ correct? Guess you tried to shut dowm the whole iPad and then restart it. If so, could you please send us a screen shot of the situation?

Good quality guitar tones with a layout that makes it quite easy to pick your chords and strum. My only complaint is the lack of added value features like FX for the electric and/or autostrum in song mode Would be cool if I could auto play the chords then pick the melody on the frets. Add that and my rating would go to 5 stars. Good work y’all.
Hab nun zwar das Logo auf dem iPad, dies verschwindet nach 3Sekunden wieder.

ich bedaure, dass Du Probleme mit iGtar hast. Du bist – meines Wissen – der zweite, bei dem das Problem auftaucht. Bei dem ersten Kunden verschwand es mit diesen Tipps:
1. Boote Dein iPad neu (das hast Du wahrscheinlich schon getan, denk ich) 2. Entferne iGtar auf dem iPad und lad es erneut von iTunes
Ich hoffe, das behebt die Probleme. Sonst meld Dich bitte nochmal.

We are now aware of a problem with the new IOS5 and our app. Our software programmer is working on solving it. iGtar is crashing out at the moment, as you know.
Cannot use it at all.
